The families of IDF reservists Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser will join others whose loved ones were kidnapped as soldiers by terrorists at a rally to mark one year since their capture, scheduled for Thursday at the ‘Gan HaEm’ (Mothers’ Garden) in Haifa.
Goldwasser and Regev were kidnapped on July 12, 2006 by Hizbullah terrorists in a cross-border attack from southern Lebanon.
The event is organized by the Haifa municipality. The northern port city suffered repeated Katyusha rocket attacks during last summer’s 34-day Second Lebanon War against Hizbullah.
